Handmade Mercworx knives
Each and every Mercworx knife is handmade from start to finish by a single craftsman. Mercworx knife makers are all very skilled, experienced, and dedicated to the same standards of quality. You'll notice that handcrafted Mercworx knives have a fine polished finish. During the knife's creation, the blade is shined to a fine mirror finish, so surface scratches or flaws may be identified in the metal. Then, the blade is brought down to a beautiful pewter satin finish. (If the blade is ever scratched, its finish can be easily restored by rubbing it lengthwise with a 3M Light Duty Scotch Bright 6448 Pad.) Mercworx knives are made of 154CM stainless steel, which has earned a reputation as the ideal steel for a hard use tactical knife. Although there are other steels similar in characteristics, Mercworx chooses 154CM because it's made in America.
