The Boone II was developed as part of the Classic Series, which uses the Vintage Sheffield Wade & Butcher Patterns for it's inspiration. The Boone was the most popular of the Wade & Butcher Knives. You can see the Direct Lineage From the Boone to the U.S.M.C. Fighting Knife. This is the Root Knife of the Design, and you will be impressed with the Feel and performance of the Boone. This model has a Double Quillion Guard, and the Original Mushroom Style Pommel of the Vintage Wade & Butcher with it's Flat - Recessed - Slotted Nut. The Balance Point is Right on the First Finger. The sheath is a Sharpshooter Sheath Systems Leather belt sheath with safety snap. The Handle features rare Amboynia Burl Wood, one of the most beautiful and highly figured woods available. Made in U.S.A.
