The blade is a traditional Japanese style (8.8" blade made of premium 52-100 Tool steel at 58RC) and the handle is ergonomically designed to give a sure, comfortable grip regardless of how you pick the knife up. The handle is comfortable in both forward and reverse grip. The knife is lightning quick in the hand and it's mass is in the center so changing direction of the point is easily accomplished. This is a VERY limited run of 120 pieces, each hand made and hand ground. This beauty measures 14 1/4 inches overall and weighs 10 ounces. History and Practicality--all in one package.
